What is rainbow poplar?

Poplar wood is a very common wood.  The color of poplar wood is typically white cream, to  light green.  On vary rare occasions, poplar wood can have these  incredible veins of color ranging from dark green, to red, purple, gray,  bluish and dark black.  These hard to find colorful veins in poplar wood is referred to as rainbow poplar.  These colorations are very rare.

While rainbow poplar is very rare, and extremely colorful unlike any other wood species. These are extremely rare wood soap dish. The different colors and color patterns will certainly captivate your attention.
